Meet the founder
Welcome! I’m Amy, the founder of Inner Garden Learning! For the past 7+ years I’ve worked across a range of primary education settings as a classroom teacher, learning support teacher, and inclusive education support teacher. Alongside my teaching, I’ve also spent years as a women’s coach and workshop/retreat facilitator, supporting emotional intelligence, embodiment and self love, a blend that has definitely shaped the heart of everything I do today.
Inner Garden Learning was born from two truths
✨ learners thrive when they feel safe, regulated, and understood
✨ learners deserve support that sees the whole learner
I created IGL so learners receive a calm, attuned place to grow… without pressure, comparison, or the feeling of “falling behind.” Every session blends Social Emotional Learning, mentoring, intuitive teaching, creativity, and low-pressure learning, always personalised, always relationship-centred, always grounded in care.
Outside my work, I’m someone who finds joy in simple things! Being by the ocean, sipping cocobella chocolate water and spending time with any dog within a 10-metre radius!! I’m also learning pickleball, which has been such a reminder that we never outgrow play, courage, and the joy of trying new things (qualities I nurture in my learners, too!).
If you’d like to learn more, ask questions, or check availability for 2026, I’d love to connect!
