Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Amy, the heart behind Inner Garden Learning. I’m a qualified Primary Teacher with 8+ years’ experience across classrooms, 1:1 learning support, and inclusive education. Alongside teaching, I’ve spent years as a women’s coach and retreat facilitator, guiding adults in emotional intelligence, confidence, and self-awareness. This blend of experiences shapes everything I do at IGL, bringing calm, attuned, and relational guidance to every learner I support.
Inner Garden Learning was born from two simple truths:
✨ Learners thrive when they feel seen, safe, and supported
✨ Every learner deserves guidance that honours the whole child
I created IGL to offer a nurturing, pressure-free space where learners can grow without comparison, judgement, or the fear of “falling behind.” Each session blends:
• Child-led exploration and curiosity
• Creative, passion-driven projects
• Foundational literacy, numeracy, and academic skills
• Social-emotional guidance and subtle regulation practices
• Reflective, relationship-centred, personalised learning
Outside of work, I savour the small joys in life: a sweet treat, walks by the ocean, sipping cocobella chocolate water, and saying hi to any dog within a 10-metre radius! I’m also learning pickleball — a playful reminder that we never outgrow courage, curiosity, or the joy of trying something new. These are the same qualities I nurture in every learner I work with.
If you’d like to explore whether this approach is the right fit for your learner, ask questions, or check availability for 2026, I’d love to connect 🌱
